Upcoming Games

The Sox hit the road in the next two weeks for three tough games, including two against division rivals.

First, the Sox cross the river on August 17 to take on the Angels in a showdown for first place in the division.

The Angels lead the division at 11-2. The Sox are 9-3. Both teams have clinched playoff spots, but are fighting for top seeding and all the advantages that go along with it.

The Sox held off the Angels 8-7 on June 15 at home. This time, the Sox will visit Lawnton Legion Field off Derry Street in Harrisburg. Game time is 1:00. Directions:

• Take Route 83 across the Susquehanna River to Exit 47, Derry Street.
• Turn left at light.
• Pass Hess Gas Station on left and continue approximately 4 blocks.
• Just before the 7-11 on the right side, turn right on to South 48th Street.
• Field is visible on the left.

On August 24, the Sox double up against the Dodgers and Orioles. The Dodgers game is part of the regular schedule, while the Orioles game is a makeup from a rainout on May 18.

The Dodgers are 8-4 and looking for a chance to move up in the division. The Sox handled them 11-6 on July 13 on a windy day at home, with the game cut short by lightning. The Dodgers will play host this time for a 1:00 p.m. game at Fisher Park in Upper Allen Township, a field the Sox have visited several times in the last couple of years.

The makeup game against the Orioles is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at Creekview Park South. Directions from Upper Allen Township:

• Take Route 83 North to the Camp Hill/Harrisburg Split.
  
• Stay in the left lane towards Camp Hill/581 West.
  
• Continue on 581 West towards I- 81 to the Creekview Road Exit.
  
• Make a right at the stop sign at the end of the ramp on to Creekview Road.
• Go approx. 1 mile to the traffic signal, continue straight.
  
• Creekview South is 3/10 of a mile on the right.
